Job Description
- Take full ownership of all finance-related matters within the Turkish trading office, ensuring smooth operations and strategic growth
- Manage liquidity, budgeting, financial controlling, reporting, and tax compliance with precision and efficiency
- Oversee the company's banking activities in Turkey, including preparing payment lists, executing payments, and liaising with banks for necessary documentation
- Support trade finance instruments and collaborate with other teams to address business needs
- Design and enforce internal control procedures, identifying risks and driving continuous process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, client support, logistics, and supply chain to ensure financial alignment across the business
- Provide critical financial insights and analytical support to commercial teams and senior management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions to support business growth
- Deliver accurate, timely financial reports to provide clarity and guide decision-making.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in finance, audit, internal control, or consulting
- Fluent in English and Turkish; Russian language skills are a plus
- Strong understanding of B2B global sales operations, including Incoterms and trade finance instruments
- Proven experience in developing financial control systems and effectively communicating with banks
- Proficiency in Excel and advanced financial analysis
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- ACCA, CIMA, or CMA certifications are highly desirable
- Must hold a valid work permit in Turkey.
